I'm passionate about storytelling and turning complex ideas into compelling visual narratives that engage and inspire. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Central Missouri, with training in IDEO design thinking and Prosci change management, and I've spent years designing for teams, clients, and nonprofits alike. I'm also the author of AI for the Everyday Worker.Increasingly, that work lives at the intersection of storytelling and AI, which I treat as a human-centered discipline. The value isn't in the tool — it's in the people who use it well. Too many teams treat AI as a technology to deploy when it's really a human capability to develop. I help people build the judgment and confidence to make these tools genuinely useful, so technology amplifies human strengths.
Author
AI for the Everyday Worker is a practical guide for people who want to use AI well without a technical background. Drawn from 70+ workshops and 1,200+ workers trained, it shows how to turn everyday tasks from a 15-minute job into a lasting skill.

Graphic Designer
My design experience encompasses a wide variety of projects, including comprehensive brand identities, customized event logos, product packaging consulting, and tailored physical pitch materials. Beyond hands-on creation, I have also provided strategic design mentorship and creative feedback to help organizations and individuals elevate their professional visual communications.
Design Thinker
Design thinking is where a lot of my instincts come from. Trained in the IDEO approach, I've learned to start with people. I focus on their needs, their frustrations and the underlying problem before reaching for a solution. It's less a process than a habit of mind: stay curious, test ideas early, and let real human needs guide the work. That same mindset shapes how I think about challenges. Understand the person first, and the solution follows.
